Thailand Dream

This is how this inexplicable passion started. If I had read the books on Thailand which I bought much later, my life would have been different, maybe. I couldn’t even imagine that I had fallen victim to the most incredible scheme, which had ruined the dreams and lives of thousands of tourists who had gone to Thailand searching for happiness.

And I was an experienced man who had had hundreds of women. Bullshit, I was simply yet another stupid farang. Yet another one you can get money out of – the more the better. Naturally, I have nothing to regret – nothing that happened to me and nothing I did. I had thought about everything, I had weighed up the risk and took it with all the responsibility of an adult man.

But I could have at least tried to learn more. I did so in the end, but it was too little, too late. I suffered damage beyond measure in emotional terms. Financial loss was something I let go of much easier, and it was something I could control. But a broken heart and shattered dreams can never be made up.
